El presente estudio tiene como finalidad demostrar toda la complejidad que ha tenido el transporte marítimo en el comercio internacional a raíz de la pandemia por el virus del Covid-19, dando creación así a la crisis de los contenedores. Entre los distintos factores que originaron la crisis de los contenedores se encuentra La república popular de China, puesto que a finales del 2019 en la ciudad de Wuhan fue donde se originó la propagación del virus hacia los países del mundo, afectando a una gran cantidad, lo cual conllevo a que la OMS declarara la pandemia y que por fuerza mayor se ocasionara un cierre de las economías, es decir, el cierre de muchas fabricas que se vieron obligadas a reducir su nómina.
