En este trabajo se presenta la propuesta para el diseño de una zanjadora para la empresa Flexport de Colombia. En el proceso de producción de flores se requiere la construcción y limpieza de “camas” de (30 cm × 60 cm × 60 m). Anualmente el proceso de construcción y limpieza suman alrededor de 6 mil camas al año, las cuales actualmente se preparan de manera manual generando un alto costo de hora hombre de trabajo para la empresa.
