To carry out the interview, the participation of seven people over the age of sixty belonging to the institution was requested. At the end of this stage, the narratives that allowed establishing the results were analyzed through the qualitative data software "ATLAS.ti".

El presente estudio tiene como objetivo describir las narrativas sobre la situación emocional en las personas mayores de 60 años que pertenecen al albergue Unidad Social San Luis María de Montfort en Choachí- Cundinamarca. En ese orden de ideas, la metodología del estudio se basa en la investigación cualitativa, fundamentada en un paradigma fenomenológico y en una técnica de recolección de datos concreta, la entrevista semiestructurada. Para la realización de la entrevista se solicitó la participación de siete personas, mayores de sesenta años pertenecientes a la institución, al culminar esta etapa, se analizaron las narrativas que permitieron establecer los resultados mediante el software de datos cualitativos “ATLAS.ti”.
