La evaluación hidráulica de la planta de tratamiento de agua potable ACUALCOS E.S.P., se ejecutó con el fin de verificar si las estructuras hidráulicas de la PTAP cumplían con los parámetros de diseño establecidos en el RAS – 2000, Se evaluaron estructuras como: Sedimentador, floculador y zonas de filtros (zona de filtros 1 y 2) teniendo en cuenta cargas hidráulicas y tiempos de detención, para llevar a cabo este proyecto investigativo se empezó por recopilar la información secundaria existente con la información obtenida in situ para posteriormente organizarla y analizarla, esto fue un trabajo arduo debido a que no se tenía mucha información secundaria y fue necesario realizar trabajos de mediciones para poder generar un trabajo compacto; en la revisión hidráulica de la planta de tratamiento de agua potable se tuvieron en cuenta las dimensiones de las estructuras para poder hallar áreas, volúmenes, cargas superficiales, tiempos de detención, velocidad del agua y otras variables necesarias para poder ejecutar una evaluación hidráulica correcta, para finalizar se formularon varias recomendaciones para que se tengan en cuenta al momento de optimizar la planta de tratamiento de agua y su funcionamiento.
