According to the above, the elaboration of an A.A.F.F.F. (Anaerobic Upflow Filter) was determined as a working methodology. El proyecto consiste en el diseño de un sistema de tratamiento de agua residual en el afluente de Yayata, donde los representantes de los acueductos mencionan que las zonas rurales del municipio de Silvania, Colombia. no cuenta con un buen servicio de calidad en el agua, Un factor principal sería los vertimientos de agua residual y para ello se realizó una investigación de un sistema de tratamiento de aguas residuales donde se busca diseñar un método apropiado en relación con la problemática de la quebrada, se hizo una comparativa en procesos de tratamiento evidenciando las diferencias, componentes, cualidades, desventajas y costos, como la zona de estudio donde se implementará el diseño.
