Situado en la provincia del Tundama (Revista Ciencias Estratégicas, 2017) se encuentra Santa Rosa De Viterbo, un municipio reconocido gracias a su historia, su cultura y tradiciones, un sitio en donde la vida del campo aun florece y es la actividad principal de la mayoría de sus habitantes, este municipio cuenta con una alcaldía comprometida con el desarrollo, la alcaldía cuenta con la Secretaría de planeación e infraestructura dedicada a mejorar la infraestructura, malla vial, y demás factores en los que se pueda beneficiar la comunidad, en la secretaría se cuenta con personal y maquinaria calificada para cada uno de los proyectos a realizar, el pasante de ingeniería civil ingreso durante el periodo final del mandato del alcalde Wilson Báez, en donde se encontraban en ejecución proyectos tales como la placa huellas, instalación de la red de alcantarillado, construcción de la nueva plaza de mercado, instalación de la red del gas natural, mantenimiento de la infraestructura de los centros de educación rurales, y demás obras en la etapa final del mandato, el pasante aporto a la Secretaría los conocimientos adquiridos en el pregrado, al igual que asesoría, trabajo en equipo, liderazgo y buen desempeño en cada una de las obras en donde se involucra, así mismo se le asigna la tarea de mantener la maquinaria de la dependencia en óptimas condiciones en donde se cumple y se llega a mejorar el estado de la maquinaria.
