accionamientos manuales). This is under the principle of a hydraulic system and other parameters
that comply with what is described in the ASTM A255 standard.
The Jominy test was carried out step by step on the parts, in addition to which they were
subjected to a hardness measurement, applying methods called Leeb hardness (HL) and Rockwell
hardness C (HRC), obtaining values with ranges between 56 - 11 (HRC) steel SAE 1045 and 59 -
16 (HRC) SAE 4140 alloy steel, allowing to be compared thanks to the hardenability curves.
Finally, a laboratory guide and a maintenance manual were elaborated, which will be of
use and help to the students. |

En el presente proyecto, se construye un banco de pruebas de ensayo Jominy de templabilidad de aceros aleados para la Universidad Antonio Nariño – Sede Neiva, programa de Ingeniería Mecánica. El diseño de la máquina elegido es la alternativa tres (Banco de pruebas ensayo Jominy con accionamientos manuales). Este bajo el principio de un sistema hidráulico y demás parámetros que cumplen con lo descrito en la norma ASTM A255. Se procedió a realizar paso a paso el ensayo Jominy a las piezas, adicionalmente estas se sometieron a una medición de dureza, aplicando métodos llamados dureza Leeb (HL) y dureza Rockwell C (HRC), obteniendo valores con rangos entre 56 – 11 (HRC) acero SAE 1045 y 59 – 16 (HRC) acero aleado SAE 4140, permitiendo ser comparados gracias a las curvas de templabilidad.
