Sumario: | Multivariate analysis with databases has become a support tool for the territory study,
employing data sources which the great majority came from Geographical Information
Systems (GIS). This mechanism is used in the territory of urbanism, especially for making
decisions and determining spatial or territorial problems.
There are methodologies applied to the territory study in current contexts; that make
use of statistical tools coming from artificial intelligence due to the great quantity of
information that is gathered. The functionality of these systems consists in the identification
of distribution patterns from variables in order to establish tendencies and estimations of
phenomenons in the territory.
In that sense, the methodologies of conventional analysis and diagnosis describe
physical and socioeconomic aspects to the immersion in the city, it is evidenced by gaps and
inconsistencies for the study for the crossing of general systems structurant of the dynamic
and statistics relations that are presented in the urban territory.
This is why this research takes the city of Neiva - Huila, Colombia, as a study
scenario, to propose a methodological model that makes use of these spatial and statistical
analysis systems based on information and variables that manage to find problems and
relationships between them, to then identify the conditions in their geographical distribution
and define strategies for action. |
