El proyecto se enfoca, desde el ejercicio académico, de analizar y reflexionar sobre la calidad de vida de los niños habitantes de calle en la ciudad de Bogotá, mediante la recuperación de los principios fundamentales entendidos como: “los derechos, el afecto, la solidaridad y el respeto recíproco entre todos sus integrantes”, y su relación con la red familiar primaria, definida “como la unidad más básica de la sociedad, y en ella, se genera el desarrollo de valores, objetivos de vida e identidades, que permiten la adaptación del individuo a la sociedad. (ICBF-OIM, 2008, pp. 21), en pro del desarrollo cognitivo de los niños habitantes de calle a través de actividades que fortalecen las bases para la heterogeneidad social, realizadas en el “Centro de Atención para Niños Habitantes de Calle” en aras de mejorar sus condiciones de vida.
