El presente trabajo tiene como propósito mejorar las condiciones de habitabilidad de las familias que viven en el asentamiento informal de Las Margaritas en la ciudad de Ibagué, a través de la identificación del estado de las viviendas, materialidad, higiene, habitabilidad y espacialidad; lo anterior se realiza mediante la investigación, análisis y diagnóstico de las viviendas, orientada por la metodología de enfoque cuantitativo transeccional - exploratorio, haciendo uso de instrumentos de recolección de datos como: aplicación de encuestas, análisis interno y externo de las viviendas, levantamiento fotográfico y planimétrico de viviendas, e inmersión en el lugar.
