Esta investigación buscó describir los niveles de sintomatología depresiva y ansiosa en los adolescentes de la Institución educativa Teófilo Roberto Potes, Buenaventura, desde una metodología cuantitativa, de carácter descriptivo y transversal, para lo cual se tomó una muestra de 197 estudiantes los cuales se encuentran en la adolescencia media entre los 14 a 18 años. Como instrumentos para la medición de dicha sintomatología de Ansiedad y depresión en los adolescentes participantes se utilizó, BDI-II y el BAI, de Beck.
