Summary:	The present study focused on determining the statistical relationship of a 10-year time series between aerosol optical depth (AOD) extracted from the MODIS sensor - MCD19A2 version 6 - Terra and Aqua, implementing the MAIAC algorithm, with the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) and enhanced vegetation index (EVI), at eight strategic points in the city of Bogotá: Usme, Tunjuelito, Bosa, Santa Fe, Candelaria Centro, Puente Aranda, Calle 80, and Usaquén.
