Se utiliza un dispositivo intravaginal a base de progestágenos que viene en forma de T utilizado para el control del ciclo estral y ayudando a la vida reproductiva de los animales, donde se incluye sincronización del estro con ayuda también de estrógenos. Este dispositivo va a actuar absorbiendose en la mucosa de la vagina de la vaca, así a su vez ocasionando un bloqueo en el eje Hipotalámico - Hipofisiario, Evitando con esto que ocurra la aparición de celos hasta que el dispositivo sea retirado, en nuestro medio este dispositivo se utiliza en algunas ganaderías con ayuda de protocolos de sincronización con el fin de tener un mejor índice reproductivo.
