La Ley de Reforma Tributaria 2277 de 2022 “Por Medio De La Cual Se Adopta Una Reforma Tributaria Para La Igualdad Y La Justicia Social Y Se Dictan Otras Disposiciones” (Congreso de Colombia, 2022, 13 de diciembre) emitida por el gobierno de Gustavo Petro Urrego, quien es el presidente de Colombia elegido popularmente por el periodo 2022-2026, en donde se prohíbe la deducción del gasto por regalías en el impuesto de Renta, con base en esta premisa, se hizo una recolección de información en diferentes plataformas del Estado y legislación nacional, para contextualizar lo que era la deducción de regalías y lo que será de ahora en adelante, teniendo como alcance únicamente las regalías del petróleo crudo en Colombia, identificando los efectos más sobresalientes de esta y analizando cada posible efecto que puede afectar directa o indirectamente a todo el país.
