El presente trabajo se enfoca en el análisis del comportamiento de las exportaciones de Colombia entre el 2012-2022, en el cual se comparan las exportaciones del sector petrolero con las exportaciones del sector agrícola no tradicional, teniendo en cuenta su aporte como fuente de ingreso de divisas al país y como influyen en la balanza comercial y de pagos, esto debido a las políticas petroleras del actual presidente Gustavo Petro Urrego y la ministra de Minas, Irene Vélez, donde afirman la posible eliminación de exploración y extracción de petróleo en Colombia.
