El objetivo general del estudio es realizar la evaluación de la amenaza por inundaciones del río Mocoa y río Caquetá en el sector Puerto Limón, Putumayo (Colombia). Teniendo en cuenta que la zona no cuenta con información detallada y muy poca información escala básica que permita describir la dinámica de la amenaza del río Mocoa y del río Caquetá al ser un factor amenazante en la sostenibilidad del centro poblado Puerto Limón.
