El presente estudio tiene como objetivo describir las narrativas sobre depresión en las personas mayores de 60 años que pertenecen al albergue Unidad Social San Luis María de Montfort en Choachí- Cundinamarca. De esa forma, se articulan diferentes objetivos específicos; en primer lugar, explorar los aspectos relacionados a las ideas de muerte presentes en las personas mayores sobre la depresión; en segundo lugar, identificar sintomatología depresiva en la historia de las personas mayores y por último, analizar los aspectos relacionados a la red de apoyo o apoyo mutuo en situaciones emocionales entre las personas mayores que conviven en la Unidad Social San Luis María de Montfort en Choachí- Cundinamarca.
