The statistical treatment of difference of means for related samples allowed to find partial effects on the subcategories analyzed, but did not reveal statistically El vertiginoso desarrollo de la tecnología y su integración acelerada y trasversal a los escenarios cotidianos, ha suscitado un creciente interés por desarrollar instrumentos y procesos tecnológicos que permitan al ser humano extender y potenciar sus habilidades en todos los escenarios, entre los cuales emerge el ámbito educativo. La robótica educativa se ha venido posicionando paulatinamente como una herramienta de generación de entornos tecnológicos que permite la integración de distintas áreas del conocimiento para la adquisición de habilidades generales, entre las que destaca la creatividad. Este documento resume los hallazgos derivados de la aplicación de una propuesta pedagógica en robótica educativa a un grupo de estudiantes de sexto grado de un colegio privado en las afueras de Bogotá. Los datos aquí analizados, provienen de una medición de su capacidad creativa en dos momentos: antes y después de la intervención, a través de la prueba de imaginación creativa para jóvenes PIC-J. El tratamiento estadístico de diferencia de medias para muestras relacionadas permitió encontrar efectos parciales sobre las subcategorías analizadas, pero no reveló diferencias estadísticamente significativas en el puntaje global de la prueba ni tampoco diferencias en razón al género de los participantes.
