La Auditoría Informática Forense, mediante el uso de Técnicas y Herramientas de Software basadas en Inteligencia de Negocios e Inteligencia Artificial, es una disciplina que puede coadyuvar en la prevención y detección de incidentes relacionados con el Plagio de Derecho de Autor y de su propiedad intelectual. En particular, las actividades preventivas hacen factible mitigar este riesgo al interior de las organizaciones evitando afectaciones económicas y reputacionales; y también, reaccionar y gestionar de manera óptima un incidente de este tipo mediante la implementación de técnicas adecuadas de la informática forense.
