Toda vez, que, a partir del sexto semestre, se extiende una línea de formación en auditoria con alcances a las áreas financiera, informática, revisoría fiscal y forense. Se emplean referentes teóricos entre otros, Tobón (2012), Martínez Cejas, Rueda Manzano, Cayo Lema, & Villa Andrade (2019). Se consideran los cursos, las enseñanzas de la Educación Superior en la actualidad, así como los desafíos que debe afrontar, y en el campo particular del contador público, la pertinencia de adquirir habilidades del rol auditor dentro de la educación y práctica de la profesión. La metodología empleada es mixta de carácter descriptivo con muestreo a conveniencia, en el que se seleccionó a los estudiantes más destacados académicamente de los semestres sexto, séptimo, octavo y noveno del programa de Contaduría Pública de la Universidad Antonio Nariño sede Neiva, quienes respondieron a una encuesta, que permitan llegar a la conclusión que los planes de estudio están diseñados de tal manera que contempla el desarrollo de habilidades y/o competencias en las dimensiones del Ser, Saber y Hacer, sin embargo, es indispensable el trabajo extramural desarrollado por cada futuro profesional en el ejercicio de su crecimiento personal y en el desempeño laboral, la línea de investigación para este articulo científico es la Auditoria y afines.
