Summary: | The Banasan input warehouse is responsible for supplying more than 80 farms
banana producers, representing 22 different groups of producers from
cooperatives to well-formed producers, therefore, it plays a key role in the
time to manage the entire production process of these farms, which is strictly linked
for the export of bananas. However, within the process of receiving and
storage of goods in the warehouse, some difficulties have been observed
related to the long times in the truck unloading process, since it is
a manual process with high volumes of material. Next, it will be analyzed
detail the process of receiving and storing goods where they are presented
some bottlenecks, affecting various logistics processes, which will allow a
initial diagnosis of the situation in this area. As a first step, the analyst
materials, according to the detailed information provided by sap, the order frequency
and projections of demand for materials, manages the requisition of products,
which go to the purchasing area to send the respective orders to the suppliers,
this function being in charge of the administrative part. When placing the purchase order,
corroborates the information about the arrival of the order at the facilities and proceeds to

Start the process of receiving and storing merchandise. This process covers three
main stages, which are reception, unloading and storage.
To identify the central problem, a tree diagram of the problem was developed.
