Debido al diseño inadecuado de la planta, hay mucho manejo inadecuado de materiales por parte de los trabajadores aumentando el costo de producción, carece de espacio suficiente la planta y se mantienen los desechos en cualquier lugar y en los puestos de trabajo, debido a los productos en procesos y terminados ubicados en cualquier parte del proceso le da mal aspecto a la planta, además las condiciones de trabajo de los trabajadores no son las adecuadas ya que están realizando sus funciones sin la debida capacitación y desarrollo de capacidades, no hay una departamentalización ni demarcación de áreas de trabajo establecidas. , en nuestro proyecto se busca realizar una propuesta de distribución en planta que permita optimizar la ordenación de los equipos, flujos de materiales y áreas de trabajo en la empresa “Guido tapicería” a un costo óptimo, además, Por medio de nuestros objetivos se obtuvo una mejora del 19% que esto le permite a la empresa destacar en campo laboral y competitivo.
