El mantenimiento preventivo en una subestación eléctrica es de suma importancia para su óptimo funcionamiento, evitando paradas por falla en los equipos las cuales producen pérdidas económicas a las empresas por corte del servicio; este trabajo tiene como finalidad elaborar el instructivo de procedimiento para las pruebas que se realizan en las subestaciones eléctricas a los barrajes conectados a la red, utilizando el método de inyección de corriente y voltaje. Estas pruebas se realizan al inicio de la puesta en servicio de la subestación o para la comprobación de su funcionamiento después de una parada por mantenimiento. El instructivo establece la metodología que se debe aplicar para la realización de las pruebas necesarias a barrajes conectados en una subestación eléctrica, cumpliendo con las normas de seguridad eléctrica del personal, los equipos y el medio ambiente.
