creation and consolidation of labor informality in the area mentioned above.
In order to find the factors that increase the incursion of people into informal
employment, a recapitulation will be carried out according to the documents that will be
reviewed and the different causes that the surveys to be carried out would show to know what
correlations are presented between the two. sources of information that can explain in detail the
genesis of the problem.
According to the results, it could be concluded that the existence and prolongation of
labor informality in the historic center of Santa Marta would be a consequence of the absence of
public policies focused on the most vulnerable population that are reflected in social, cultural and
economic aspects, such as they are: The low educational level, the precarious access to health
systems, the high rates of migration, among others. |

Este documento pretende encontrar los determinantes de la informalidad laboral: un caso de estudio en el centro histórico de la ciudad de Santa Marta (2014-2020), para ello se utilizarán revisiones de distintos trabajos que han realizado entidades, instituciones y organizaciones conforme a esta problemática social, económica y cultural. Así mismo, se traerán datos de unas encuestas que se le realizaran a las personas que se dediquen a dicha actividad, donde se puntualizaran aspectos de la salud, la educación, la vivienda, perfil laboral, el éxodo de personas etc., que inciden en la creación y consolidación de la informalidad laboral en la zona anteriormente mencionada. Con el objetivo de encontrar los factores que incrementan la incursión de personas al empleo informal, que se realizará por medio de un enfoque metodológico cuantitativo y de diseño no experimental, en donde se expondrán datos de encuestas realizadas y revisiones literarias para exponer la génesis de la problemática. Conforme a los resultados se podría concluir que la existencia y prolongación de la informalidad laboral en el centro histórico de Santa Marta sería consecuencia de la ausencia de políticas públicas enfocadas a la población más vulnerable que se ven reflejados en aspectos sociales, culturales y económicos, como lo son: El bajo nivel educativo, el acceso precario a los sistemas de salud, los altos índices de migración, entre otros.
