Summary: | In Colombia, forced internal displacement is a problem that has accompanied its population throughout history. The violence exerted by armed groups, drug trafficking, the abandonment of the state, a failed democracy, and the attempt to achieve a stable and lasting peace have witnessed the thousands of victims they have left behind. According to SISDHES data, 82,846 people were displaced between January and November 2021, this year being the highest number of victims of forced displacement since the signing of the Peace Agreement. |
