Scholar, Scielo, among others, from which advanced documentary research, comparison and
classification of bibliographic references, as well as the integration of sources and organization of
evidence in thematic sections that collected everything related to the proposed topic and finally
the quantitative results were presented with their respective analysis and reflections on the
information in the thematic sections. It is concluded that in the analyzed period there was not a
complete execution or the most efficient management of the allocated financial resources and
neither were the results in mental health planned by the health authorities to guarantee the effective
enjoyment of this right to the Colombian population, for which some recommendations are made
for the main actors involved in the problem treated. |

En esta investigación se busca profundizar en los temas relacionados con el financiamiento de la salud mental y con los resultados en salud obtenidos con los recursos financieros utilizados, en términos del avance y cumplimiento de las metas definidas para los componentes de la promoción, prevención y la atención integral a los problemas y trastornos mentales de la población colombiana entre 2016 y 2019. Para ello, se realizó una búsqueda de la literatura científica en diferentes bases como PubMed, Redalyc, Google Scholar, Scielo, entre otras, a partir de lo cual se adelantó la investigación documental, la comparación y clasificación de las referencias bibliográficas, así como también la integración de las fuentes y organización de la evidencia en apartados temáticos que recogieron todo lo relacionado con el problema planteado y finalmente se presentan los resultados cuantitativos con su respectivo análisis y las reflexiones sobre la información de los diferentes apartados. Se concluye que en el período analizado no hubo una ejecución completa ni la más eficiente gestión de los recursos financieros asignados y tampoco se obtuvieron los resultados en salud mental planeados por las autoridades sanitarias para garantizar el goce efectivo de este derecho a la población colombiana, por lo cual se realizan unas recomendaciones para los principales actores involucrados en la problemática tratada.
