Este artículo se basa en el planteamiento de un equipamiento arquitectónico en el municipio de Úmbita, perteneciente al departamento de Boyacá, éste, al ser un sector rural, se ve constantemente afectado por la desigualdad territorial que padecen las zonas rurales en confrontación a las zonas urbanas, en estas últimas es donde se concentran equipamientos y servicios en mayor medida; lo cual da espacio a la segregación social.
