| Sumario: | The present investigation was carried out under the general objective of analyzing the
incident vulnerability factors in the quality of life of elderly people belonging to the
Wayuu ethnic group of the Jawou community in the municipality of Uribía La Guajira.
Which was supported by postulates from authors such as: Aponte (2015), WHO (2019),
Sánchez and Egea (2011), García, et al (2016), Cherrie, et al (2018), among others. The
study had a mixed methodology, that is, qualitative-quantitative, for the collection of
information three instruments were carried out: a sociodemographic survey, an interview
and a quality of life survey. The same were practiced on twenty (20) older adults
belonging to the Wayuu ethnic group of the Jawou community in the municipality of
