El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como alcance analizar las habilidades visoperceptuales en el parkinsonismo, condición definida como: el estado fisiopatológico resultante de la pérdida de sustancia negra y la alteración dopaminérgica de los ganglios basales que se manifiesta como bradicinesia, rigidez en los músculos, temblor en el cuerpo y trastornos en el equilibrio postural (1). Existen diversos tipos de parkinsonismo, de los cuales, en la actualidad no se tiene totalmente clara su causa; sin embargo, se ha descrito que afectan principalmente la capacidad motora del paciente con una prevalencia mundial en más del 3% en pacientes mayores de 65 años.
