where the incidence of vehicle traffic is high; In this sense, the project is developed in the city of
Neiva, specifically on the road route of Avenida 26, this is highlighted by its proximity to the
Benito Salas airport, it denotes relevance for its active commerce and frequent traffic. Finally, the
purpose is to formulate planning and landscape design strategies, which provide tools for the
improvement and incorporation of trees suitable for use in the road separators, regulating
temperature and contributing to reduce CO2 emissions. |

El calentamiento global crece constantemente y las ciudades también, por ende, es necesario encontrar soluciones asequibles para mitigar este problema y adaptarse a él. Acorde a ello, el arbolado urbano resulta vital por innumerables beneficios, como la captura de partículas nocivas para el medio ambiente y el confort climático que proporciona. En una urbanidad, la mayor generación de CO2 se produce en la malla vial, donde la incidencia del tráfico de vehículos es elevada; en este sentido, la investigación se realiza en la ciudad de Neiva, específicamente en el eje vial de la Avenida 26, destacada por su cercanía al aeropuerto Benito Salas, denota relevancia por su comercio activo y tráfico frecuente.
