To provide a partial solution to the problem, the creation of the design of a geriatric

Keywords: senior citizens, social problems, bioclimatic architecture, gerontoarchitectu Este proyecto de diseño se realizó con base a una problemática social que acarrean las personas de la tercera edad la cual consta de la pérdida de la salud progresiva física y mental, debido a esta peculiaridad los familiares optan por adaptar el entorno a sus necesidades o en el peor de los casos optan por el abandono parcial o total de ésta persona. Para dar una solución parcial a la problemática se establece la creación del diseño de un centro geriátrico partiendo de una investigación cualitativa y rigiéndose por las bases de la arquitectura bioclimática y la geronto-arquitectura.
