Bogotá como Distrito Capital, tiene diferentes sistemas de diversa complejidad que están dentro del POT como la estructura socioeconómica, ambiental y funcional. Por lo cual se han realizado diferentes estudios, planes y diagnósticos urbanos con el fin de mejorar la forma y la función de la ciudad, este es el caso de la Avenida el Dorado, donde la Fundación Rogelio Salmona, ha realizado una propuesta sobre la calle 26 donde se conforma un corredor ecológico y cultural, a partir de esta propuesta TAMSA empieza a tener una identidad.
