El proyecto urbano Parque Ecológico Tierra del Sol Reserva de Fauna y Flora se desarrolla a partir de una investigación ambiental en la Ciudad de Bogotá, localidad de Engativá. Esta localidad cuenta con tres nodos ambientales como: el Rio Bogotá, el Parque La Florida y el Humedal Jaboque, puntos claves en el desarrollo ambiental de la ciudad, pero con diferentes problemáticas, por esto se realizó una metodología mixta que determina las características físicas y sociales del entorno, como siguiente paso se tomaron las conclusiones territoriales y se realizó un trabajo de campo con la comunidad generando encuestas y diseños participativos para determinar posibles soluciones a las problemáticas de contaminación, inseguridad y falta de conciencia ciudadana en contexto a los nodos principales.
