was conducted through quantitative research methodology, with a descriptive scope, it is nonexperimental since no variables were deliberately manipulated. |

El objetivo de este estudio fue describir los tipos más frecuentes de acoso escolar entre pares, estudiantes del grado 7, 8, y 9, de un Colegio de la ciudad de Cali. Con base a la revisión de la literatura se halló que el fenómeno del acoso escolar, es un tema que con el pasar de los años se ha hecho visible, ya que, con los diversos estudios se ha logrado identificar los principales tipos de acoso escolar, los actores que protagonizan este acto y las causas. Todo lo anterior, ha conseguido que los entes educativos intervengan desde la prevención. Es por ello, que el propósito de esta investigación fue dar cuenta de un estado actual sobre el tema del acoso escolar, describiendo los tipos más frecuentes de acoso escolar entre pares, estudiantes del grado 7, 8, y 9. Este estudio se realizó a través de la metodología de la investigación cuantitativa, con un alcance descriptivo, no experimental ya que no se manipuló deliberadamente variables.
