El objetivo de este trabajo de grado es realizar una investigación sobre los 6 equipamientos considerados como bien cultural en el centro histórico del municipio de Villa de Nuestra Señora de Leyva, ubicada en el Departamento de Boyacá. Con los resultados de dicha investigación se plantea una intervención en contextos patrimoniales para el reciclaje e integración de un bien de interés cultural, el Claustro de San Francisco, con la finalidad de fortalecer estos equipamientos patrimoniales de carácter colonial teniendo en cuenta que son muy importantes por su historia, tanto para el municipio como para Colombia.
