and training, the factors that can generate the transmission of the disease can be minimized.

En el ambiente profesional de la odontología, se sugiere que la transmisión ocurre de manera similar a otros virus respiratorios, debido a la cercanía menor a 1 metro entre el profesional y el paciente. Los profesionales de la salud, en este caso los odontólogos, están en el grupo de alta afectación por la infección de COVID-19, por lo cual deben extremar de forma permanente los cuidados en cada uno de los procesos de bioseguridad mediante la evaluación de los riesgos y la asignación de buenas prácticas de trabajo, equipos de seguridad apropiados y capacitación, se pueden reducir a un mínimo los factores que pueden generar la transmisión de la enfermedad.
