When an emergency occurs, the municipality has its respective disaster risk management office, with the purpose of evaluating all the risk scenarios presented either by floods, forest fires, mass movements and geological failure La alcaldía municipal de Paime Cundinamarca tiene como objetivo actualizar el Plan Municipal de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastre para evaluar los escenarios de riesgo que se presentan en los diferentes terrenos del municipio, esto con el fin de realizar procesos para su mitigación. Al presentarse alguna emergencia el municipio tiene su respectiva oficina de gestión del riesgo de desastre, con el propósito de evaluar todos los escenarios del riesgo presentados ya sea por inundaciones, incendios forestales, movimientos en masa y falla geológica.
