Colombia es uno caso inédito y relevante, ya que es uno de los países en el mundo que cuenta con grandes riquezas ecológicas y diversos cambios de clima, pero alser un país con una latitud tan baja, no se presentan las cuatro estaciones que se suelen presentan en otros países, aun así las temperaturas marcadas en este país, la gran mayoría está por debajo de los 1000 msnm y dando como dato especial, gracias a las tres cordilleras que posee y algunas otras descripciones como sus zonas montañosas, hace que su temperatura y precipitación estén en un cambio constantemente.
