Summary: | The company CPC Ingeniería y Mantenimiento SAS, presents problems in its production
process, most of its products require that the union of its parts is through the application of
welding, a process that does not have established parameters for this activity, so it was decided
to present to the company a proposal for improvement in this area, in order to provide its
customers with better quality products.
A diagnosis of the company was made regarding the control of the production process,
where it was found that the company does not control the raw material acquired, nor does it follow
up during the assembly of the different products, nor does it have a clear procedure for the correct
application of welding to its products.
The proposal submitted to the company establishes clear and precise procedures on the
control of purchased raw material, dimensional control of the manufactured product, the correct
application of welding for the union of parts that make up the product and their inspection.
The application of controls in the reception of raw material, manufacturing process and
finished product will allow the company to keep a traceability of its projects in order to mitigate
reprocesses.
It is recommended that the company train its personnel in order to reinforce their
knowledge of blueprint interpretation, welding application, and correct use of equipment, tools,
and personal protective equipment |
