La propuesta de un diseño de una ruta gastronómica a municipios aledaños a la ciudad de Cúcuta se realiza con el fin de potencializar la gastronomía típica del departamento de Norte de Santander. Por medio de un estudio que se llevó a cabo con encuestas e investigaciones para la selección de los municipios que van a hacer parte del recorrido. Cabe resaltar que también se incluirán en el itinerario lugares turísticos para que el turista pueda conocer la cultura Norte Santandereana.
