this important sector of the municipality of Pitalito. The research is carried out through urban
studies, which allow interpreting the problems related to the urban context that currently lacks
sports, health, commerce and public space facilities. In response to the above, an urban proposal
is generated with the implementation of multifamily housing of social interest and the
comprehensive improvement of existing facilities such as the Olympic village, the market square
and the municipal slaughterhouse and the revitalization of areas that lack space public, which
will be consolidated with the proposed and existing housing, where the design of this urban
proposal is based on the development treatments indicated by the regulations, in order to mitigate
the problems encountered and through these solutions, meet the needs of the inhabitants of the
northwestern sector and the municipality of Pitalito Huila. |

El propósito de esta investigación es hacer que la participación ciudadana sea importante para el mejoramiento integral de la estructura urbana, donde se genere un tratamiento de renovación y revitalización en este importante sector del municipio de Pitalito. La investigación se realiza a través de estudios urbanos, que permiten interpretar los problemas relacionados con el contexto urbano que en la actualidad carece de equipamientos deportivos, de salud, comercio y espacio público. En respuesta a lo anteriormente planteado, se genera una propuesta urbana con implantación de vivienda multifamiliar de interés social y el mejoramiento integral de equipamientos existentes tales como la villa olímpica, plaza de mercado y matadero municipal y la revitalización de zonas que carecen de espacio público, donde el diseño está basado en los tratamientos de desarrollo que indican la normativa, con el fin de mitigar los problemas encontrados y a través de estas soluciones, suplir las necesidades de los habitantes del sector noroccidental y del municipio de Pitalito Huila.
