El objetivo del presente trabajo de grado, fue determinar la metodología adecuada para la aplicación en el mantenimiento correctivo del sellado de transformadores de potencia en aceite conectados a la red en la empresa CENS EPM S.A. Conjuntamente con las actividades pertinentes al mantenimiento correctivo de sellado, se analizan diferentes procedimientos y procesos útiles a la hora de realizar un mantenimiento correctivo en el sellado del transformador. Los temas que se investigaron y estudiaron previo al análisis del mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo de sellado en un transformador de potencia en aceite, fueron los elementos constitutivos de esta clase de transformador, junto con los factores que producen un deterioro de su sistema de aislamiento y hermeticidad ya que un buen conocimiento de estos temas facilita tanto el desarrollo como la aplicación del programa de mantenimiento del equipo.
