El presente estudio se centró en realizar una caracterización del consumo energético en el Chrisban Hotel Boutique con el fin de proponer alternativas para la adopción de estrategias enfocadas a obtener una mayor eficiencia energética, determinando criterios y requerimientos aplicables al hotel con base a la norma ISO 50001 por lo que se diseñó un sistema de gestión de la energía bajo el ciclo de mejora continua PHVA (Planificar-HacerVerificar-Actuar) junto con tres propuestas para la reducción del consumo eléctrico, principalmente en los cambios de tecnologías a iluminación LED, el uso de tecnología inverter en equipos de aire acondicionado, Además de una alternativa en el uso de energía solar fotovoltaica.
