description	This research aims to analyze the factors that precipitate suicide attempts in step defined as young adulthood, comprising from 20 to 40 years old, in a group of 3 people of the village of Roldanillo, Valley Cauca having into account, the environment in which they operate, social relationships, biological, psychosocial and personal patterns, which may be influencing or influencing their suicidal thoughts and ideas. The research uses a qualitative approach which begins to develop in a semi-structured interview and on a scale of suicidal ideation in which we can identify the recurrence of suicidal thoughts and place numerous desires, thoughts or wishes to self-harm. Leading to confront the theoretical and practical ideas, research to provide a broader vision and clear of what may be affecting participants. The research allows us to analyze factors that are already evidenced in other studies, such as possible “emerging risks” found in participating young adults, such as psychiatric family history, unemployment, little sense of life and experiences of abuse in childhood and adolescence. Finally, this research seeks to have a place in clinical, social psychology and cause an alert to the health system; to consider that suicide in young adulthood is present, and it is possible to find the root of these thoughts, in order to prevent them and avoid consequences without return.

La presente investigación tiene como propósito analizar los factores que precipitan los intentos de suicidio en la etapa definida como la adultez joven, que comprende de los 20 a 40 años de edad, en un grupo de 3 personas del municipio de Roldanillo, Valle del Cauca, teniendo en cuenta, el ambiente en el que se desenvuelven, relaciones sociales, patrones biológicos, psicosociales y personales; los cuales puedan estar influenciando o influenciaron en sus pensamientos e ideas suicidas. La investigación maneja un enfoque cualitativo, utilizando entrevista semiestructurada y en una escala de ideación suicida en la cual podemos identificar la recurrencia de pensamientos suicidas y situar numerosos deseos, pensamientos o anhelos de autolesionarse. Así a confrontar ideas teóricas y prácticas, para proveer a la investigación una visión más amplia y clara de lo que pueda estar afectando a los participantes. La investigación permite analizar factores que ya son evidenciados en otros trabajos, como posibles “riesgos emergentes” encontrados en los adultos jóvenes participantes como antecedentes familiares psiquiátricos, desempleo, escaso sentido de vida y experiencias de maltrato en la infancia y adolescencia. Para finalizar, esta investigación busca tener un lugar en la psicología clínica, social y causar una alerta al sistema de salud; para considerar que el suicidio en la adultez joven está presente, y es posible encontrar la raíz de dichos pensamientos, para así prevenirlos y evitar consecuencias sin retorno.
