La recuperación de la memoria oral del Pacífico colombiano supone, además de una basta tarea etnográfica, una interesante empresa polisémica, por cuanto en ella confluyen los saberes y tradiciones de la oralidad junto a una muy significativa teatralización en la que debemos rebasar nuestro lugar como lectores, esto para acercarnos a las brasas y compartir un imaginario lleno de música y simbolismo.
