description	The present research work consists of understanding and identifying the influence of the sociocultural context: beliefs, taboos and prohibitions on the sexual pleasure of women, taking into account the influence of sexual education received from their environment, religion and the cultural context where the project is carried out, the municipality of El Dovio, Valle The research provides information on four (04) women with an age range between twenty (20) and forty (40) years of age, who participate voluntarily, based mainly on the analysis of beliefs, taboos and prohibitions, as influential in the decision-making about sexual behaviors. The study has a qualitative, phenomenological methodology, developed through semi-structured interviews, a focus group and a projective activity called body mapping, likewise, the interpretation of the data or information obtained is carried out, through the content analysis technique. Consequently, the following results are obtained: it shows as the main axes of influence on women's sexual pleasure, the family as a direct and primary environment, the culture framed by patriarchy and that, within itself, carries a historical reality and the statement of the hypothesis that there is a correlation between personality and sexual desire.

El presente trabajo de investigación consiste en comprender e identificar la influencia del contexto sociocultural: creencias, tabúes y prohibiciones en el placer sexual de la mujer, teniendo en cuenta la influencia de la educación sexual recibida de su entorno, la religión y el contexto cultural donde se lleva a cabo el proyecto, el municipio de El Dovio, Valle La investigación aporta información de cuatro (04) mujeres con un rango de edad entre veinte (20) y cuarenta (40) años de edad, que participan voluntariamente, basada principalmente en el análisis de las creencias, tabúes y prohibiciones, como influyentes en la toma de decisiones sobre las conductas sexuales. El estudio tiene una metodología cualitativa, fenomenológica, desarrollado mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas, un grupo focal y una actividad proyectiva llamada cartografía corporal, asimismo, se realiza la interpretación de los datos o información obtenida, mediante la técnica análisis de contenido. Por consiguiente, se obtienen los siguientes resultados: demuestra como principales ejes de influencia en el placer sexual de las mujeres, la familia como entorno directo y primario, la cultura enmarcada por el patriarcado y que, dentro de sí, lleva una realidad histórica y el planteamiento de la hipótesis de que haya correlación entre la personalidad y el deseo sexual.
