Este artículo presenta un análisis de los programas de maestría que existen actualmente en Colombia para brindar formación en el campo de la computación. Para su desarrollo se utilizó una metodología compuesta por cuatro etapas: i) Identificación de la oferta académica, ii) búsqueda de información, iii) clasificación de los programas, iv) generación de informes y análisis de hallazgos. Los principales resultados son la caracterización de la oferta de maestrías en computación, el análisis de las denominaciones de los programas, los títulos que se otorgan y las líneas de investigación, las cuales fueron analizadas y clasificadas tomando como referentes las guías y recomendaciones curriculares de la Asociación para la Computación – ACM.
