Summary:The design of a water purification and supply system for a community in Caloto-Cauca is presented, the supply source from which the water catchment will be from an underground well of the rivers, a total of 287 people will be served. The plant treatment capacity that is proposed is 0.3 l / s composed of the following stages: Extraction, Coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, chlorination and storage, the sizing was carried out taking into account the normative parameters of the SAN 2000, Title C and resolution 2115 of 2007 that include the quality of drinking water. The design consists of a system of tanks, valves, pumps and other accessories that facilitate the operation of the plant. The design was carried out in order to provide the water supply to the community in acceptable sanitary conditions and suitable for human consumption to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants of the community served, through the proposal of a plant in which the water cleaning stages are carried out.
