Likewise, the municipality does not have the presence of industries that generate employment opportunities for the area. In the municipal seat, 60.48% of the roads are paved and are classified in a good conservation range, 29.68% are uncovered and in fair condition and the remaining 9.84% correspond to roads without a base in the rural sector, according to diagnosis carried out, road infrastructure works are required, therefore, to improve the conditions of the municipality, an intervention will be implemented to the action unit with an operational vision of urban planning. Through an urban action unit, the architectural project of the training center and agricultural production for people with disabilities will be developed; dimensioning the project and thus improving the quality of basic services, having as a priority the vulnerable population and economic development to generate greater well-being for the population through the revitalization of the local economy, improve environmental sustainability while preserving it and finally project coverage at the urban regional level. El municipio de Armero Guayabal tiene una vocación productiva netamente agrícola, por ende, la economía es baja, igualmente el perfil de formación en técnicas agropecuarias es deficiente para las labores en el campo y su ocupación. Así mismo, el municipio no cuenta con la presencia de industrias que lleguen a generar oportunidades de empleo para la zona. En la cabecera municipal el 60.48% de las vías se encuentra pavimentadas y se clasifican en un rango de conservación bueno, el 29.68% se hallan destapadas y en estado regular y el 9.84% restante corresponde a vías sin base en el sector rural, según diagnóstico realizado, se requiere obras de infraestructura vial, por lo tanto, para mejorar las condiciones del municipio, se implementará una intervención a la unidad de acción con una visión operacional del urbanismo. A través de una unidad de actuación urbanística se desarrollara el proyecto arquitectónico del centro de capacitación y producción agrícola para las personas con discapacidad; dimensionando el proyecto y así mejorar la calidad de servicios básicos, teniendo como prioridad a la población vulnerable y desarrollo económico para generar un mayor bienestar a la población por medio de la dinamización de la economía local, mejorar la sostenibilidad ambiental preservando la misma y por último la cobertura del proyecto a nivel urbano regional.
