| Summary: | This research is focused on the elaboration of an improvement Action Plan for the company
Puertoriente Logística y Transporte S.A.S. The company is located to transport stone material,
internal service of transport vehicles (high bed, low bed, trucks and turbos) and lifting equipment
(cranes, wagons and loaders), it provides the service of disarmament, transport and weapons of
drills drilling and workover, transportation service for oversized and extra heavy loads, by road
nationwide, especially to the Quifa and Rubiales field wells. The main objective of this research
is to improve the logistics system for the management of the company's transport fleet, with a
view to continuing to have quality service to customers, eliminating situations of customer
dissatisfaction and dissatisfaction.
The methodological process is based on collecting information through the historical
analysis of documents, using files, questionnaires and interviews, especially with the focus
group, field diaries, and observation; Subsequently, tools such as the Ishikawa diagram and the
pareto diagram were used, which specifies obtaining relevant information, to identify the
problems affected in terms of the company's logistics.
The main result of this research was the implementation of an action plan with improvement
activities, the actions taken were established based on the diagnosis made of the main problems
that arise in the company in the development of its activities, highlighting the Included in the
equipment updates and the entire fleet, with the improvements a strengthening of the company in
its commercial activity and recovery of customers who did not use our service, due to
nonconformities detected during the realization of it. |
